      <image:title>Teens - Why it’s important</image:title>
<image:caption>Teens have access to more information, are exposed to more social influence, and are connected to more people than any other teen in history. Having a safe and accepting space to work through the difficulties of teenage years can change the trajectory of a person's life. These are the years when youth begin to develop their sense of self, while juggling the pressures of society, family, and peer relationships. Therapy can provide a non-biased space for teens to explore these pressures and how to navigate them effectively. I have extensive experience in working with teens and their families and have a deep knowledge about treatment options ranging from outpatient, to youth with IEP’s, hospitalizations, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a licensed clinical social worker who lives and works in Novato and Marin County but meets with clients located all over the Bay Area. With a BA in Psychology, Communications, and Human Development, and a MA in Social Work, I can confidently say that interpersonal relationships have intrigued me since a young age. This profound interest has led me to become a licensed clinical social worker, where I’m able to sit with others and explore the relationship they have with themselves and others around them. A significant part of my therapeutic practice has been working with teens, transitional-age youth (ages 20–30), and their families. My work with families naturally led me to pursue training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach to helping couples strengthen connection, understand relationship patterns, and create more secure and fulfilling relationships. What I discovered through my work with families was that the relationship between the adults at the center of the family often needed support, connection, and recalibration as well. This led me to develop a deeper focus on couples work, which has become an important part of my practice. In my work, I pull from many different approaches, depending on the needs of the individual or group of individuals I work with. I weave together evidence-based therapeutic approaches with mindfulness and holistic practices that support self-compassion, body awareness, and emotional intelligence. My goal is to create a space where you can be curious about yourself, explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and the people who matter most.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Couples and Family Therapy - Why it’s important</image:title>
<image:caption>As human beings, we are wired to feel, and be, connected to others. So it makes sense we feel panic, fear, and sadness when ruptures in important relationships happen. These ruptures can be healed when done the right way, and therapy can help the relationship heal and grow together. Trained as an Emotionally Focused Therapist, we will get to the root of what is getting in the way of the deep connection you want to feel with the people you love.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Young Adults - Why it’s important</image:title>
<image:caption>There is a lot of pressure that comes with becoming an adult. You're expected to make decisions about your future, relationships, career, all while trying to establish independence. Sometimes that uncertainty shows up as anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, difficulty setting boundaries, or a feeling that you're somehow falling behind. Therapy can be a place to step outside of that pressure and take a closer look at what's happening beneath the surface. Together, we can explore the patterns, expectations, and experiences that have shaped you while making space for the person you're becoming. The goal isn't to tell you who you should be or what choices you should make. It's to help you feel more grounded, understand yourself more clearly, and build a life and relationships that feel like your own.</image:caption>
