Therapy for when life feels stuck.
Sometimes life changes in ways we aren't prepared for. A relationship shifts. Your child is struggling. You're entering a new stage of adulthood. Old patterns stop working. Or you simply find yourself feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and find a way forward.
Welcome. My name is Heather and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with young adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, the effects of trauma, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and major life transitions. I also have extensive work with teens and their families, drawing on more than a decade of experience as a school-based therapist.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel understood and supported. Together, we'll explore what's underneath the patterns that aren't working, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, and build tools to help you move forward.
My training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR allows me to work both with individual experiences of trauma and with the relational patterns that can leave us feeling disconnected from the people we care about most.
Whether you're struggling on your own, navigating a difficult transition, or trying to change patterns within a relationship or family, you don't have to figure it all out by yourself.
I'd be honored to help.
Teens
Teenage years are tough! Teens are faced with the struggle of how to individuate and conform all at the same time. Therapy can help teens sort through their thoughts and emotions so they feel more manageable and in control. For youth ages 13-19.
Young Adults
That lost, stuck, helpless feeling is your body saying slow down, listen to me, I have something to tell you. Let’s sit down and figure this out together.
Couples & Family
Are you feeling stuck in repetitive, negative, and hurtful patterns with the people you care about most? Therapy can help you and your loved ones feel more connected, understood, and move past hurts in your relationship.
