Will my insurance cover therapy?
I am an out-of-network provider. A superbill can be provided to you for reimbursement from your insurance. First, find out what your insurance may cover by contacting your carrier to see if you have out-of-network mental health coverage. You may want to mention the type of license that Heather has to ensure services with her credential are covered. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), license number 82379. Other things you may want to ask about are:
What is your deductible?
Will you have a co-payment?
How many visits do you get per year?
Do you need authorization for your visits?

How long will I be in therapy?
Every client’s needs are different, therefore putting a specific time frame on the length of therapy can be difficult. While some symptoms may decrease after only a few sessions, others may take more time. I recommend that you commit to weekly sessions for 6 months to experience lasting change. Those looking for short-term therapy are also welcome.
What kind of therapy does Heather do?
I draw from various therapeutic models and tailor it to best meet your needs. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which is based on attachment science and is considered the most effective and empirically substantiated couples therapy model. Along with EFT, Heather weaves together psychodynamic, client-centered approaches in her work to assist you in navigating the ups and downs of life.
