“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them”
– Albert Einstein
Meet Heather Lazzaretti, LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker who lives and works in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. With a BA in Psychology, Communications, and Human Development, and a MA in Social Work, I can confidently say that interpersonal relationships have intrigued me since a young age. This profound interest has led me to become a licensed clinical social worker, where I’m able to sit with others and explore the relationship they have with themselves and others around them. In my work, I pull from many different approaches, depending on the needs of the individual or group of individuals I work with. I weave together Eastern psychological theory and holistic practices to develop self compassion, body awareness, and emotional intelligence.
My purpose as a therapist is to provide a warm, supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals, couples, and families, can explore the deep rooted issues and patterns that make them feel "stuck".
